INFORMATICS has a very special relationship with 3e Handels- und Dienstleistungs AG. The number one in the Austrian tool trade was one of the first customers of INFORMATICS and has remained loyal to the company for over 20 years.

Efficient, highly automated logistics is one of the key competitive advantages for the trading company, which is why customised solutions were developed for 3e. "Most recently, we received the order to centralise the receipt of goods and the subsequent storage at the storage location," Marcel Majer describes. Previously, it was necessary to switch back and forth between different actions in SAP.

"Now the incoming delivery note including materials is entered and the corresponding order is automatically searched for in order to pre-fill the respective data. Subsequently, the item can be stored using an automatic bin search or manual bin entry."

NO DUPLICATIONS

Logging also runs in the background. "The programme recognises if another warehouse worker has already processed the order to avoid duplication." There is a logic of its own behind this. "If a problem occurs during goods receipt, it is immediately logged," Majer explains. In a next step, the programme can be directly linked to quality management.
