Getting to grips with the synchronization of large databases

Data synchronization between SAP systems can be a truly Herculean task when large volumes of data are involved. Or it can be child's play. As is so often the case, it's just a question of having the right tool to turn the proverbial elephant back into a mosquito.
The particularly cost-efficient Sync Framework (SFW) from INFORMATICS enables fast and precise data transfer according to the desired use cases in the company. This means that the huge amount of time and effort required either financially - if you use expensive commercial SAP products - or in terms of time - if you decide to do the synchronization manually - is a thing of the past.
ONE TOOL FOR ALL TASKS
Classic use cases include data outsourcing to other system landscapes and regular data reconciliation between test and production systems. In the former, precisely defined data areas are moved from any source system to any target system.
Regular data synchronization can be easily managed by scheduling a batch job that is processed at defined times. Finally, SFW can also be used as an analysis tool, as simulation runs make it easy to compare several sources with each other.
"The INFORMATICS Sync Framework (SFW) shortens time-consuming processes to a minimum. After all, you also have other things to do."
Henry Ritzlmayr, Technical Director INFORMATICS Group
During the transfer, the data can also be converted or anonymized as required. This makes it possible to enrich data in an existing system with other key values, for example, or to replicate representative scenarios anonymously in test cycles as part of quality cycles. Such standardized tests can effectively improve system stability during upgrades or major functional enhancements.
