The joint path with i.s.h.med® to a stronger healthcare system

These were three exciting but intense days, densely packed with interesting encounters, valuable exchanges and reunions. The automatic transmission of patient training in the course of dementia treatment is done directly from home into the patient documentation. This presented the benefits and opportunities of documentation processes across HIS boundaries to our interested parties. This year we were represented with our partners from the SAP Business Technology (BTP) Cloud in a joint exhibition area.

At DMEA 2022, there were over 300 inspiring keynotes, practical presentations and exciting discussion panels by and with experts from politics, self-government, business and science. It is an exhibition where we also presented our products and solutions with more than 500 other manufacturers and suppliers. Just as we enrich our customers, the exchange on site with more than 11,000 trade visitors from 42 countries enriched us.

TALK. REMEMBER. COMMUNICATE - INFORMATICS HELPS

In line with the motto "Speak.remember. communicate", our visitors were enthusiastic about the use case of the Memocorby cube and communication with CERNER i.s.h.med. This is a digital, multi-sensory therapy tool for relearning language after a stroke and for memory training for dementia prevention and therapy. In an interview with Standard.at, Memocorby inventor Elisabeth Dokalik-Jonak says that neuroscientific studies prove that good learning results are achieved by simultaneously stimulating the brain with visual, auditory and also haptic stimuli. By collecting this information in the patient's documentation, the treating physician receives resilient information for the first time, which helps to be able to adjust the medication based on the training results.

The feedback from the visitors was great. They were interested in this solution and realized that this changes the interaction and communication with patients. This allows the patient to be treated better. It is possible to recognize efficiently how far the stage of dementia has progressed.

TOGETHER IN THE SAP PARTNERSHIP

Together with our partners from the SAP Business Technology (BTP) Cloud, XANTAS AG, OPASCA GmbH, Vertama, Atos, Axians and SBMC Solutions, we showed what is possible with BTP in healthcare.
The joint stand of SAP partners donated equipment to www.schoeneberg-hilft.de - a project that helps refugees from Ukraine. We are happy that this equipment will serve Ukrainian children at a German school in the future. If you would like to support this school project from Berlin, we will be happy to pass on the contact details. office@informatics.at
