A turbulent year with unforeseen challenges is drawing to a close. Challenges that do not stop at company size or sector, do not distinguish between consumption, production, services or the health sector.
It also demanded a lot from INFORMATICS. We had to put many of our digitisation projects on hold in the past due to a lack of time, but this year we managed one thing brilliantly: we migrated to S/4HANA 1909 and optimised all business processes in order to be able to switch to an efficient home office.
What pleases me most is that we managed this unique year without short-time work. Even more, we were even able to build up planned staff, strengthen our service and invest in our innovative strength. For this, I would like to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart - teamwork and commitment par excellence.
I can assure our clients that I have the greatest understanding and respect for scaling back investments and focusing on our own staff and core business. This responsibility and sustainability is needed now.
It is pleasing that despite the crisis, people are coming together, not losing their joy in the many topics in our environment and investing in the future. The many individual advances in the implementation of the S/4HANA roadmaps at our customers make me proud; you can feel the anticipation of the result.
This year showed the strengths of INFORMATICS: Trust and sustainability. I am grateful for customers as well as employees and partners who pull together with us.
