From April 21 to 23, 2026, Berlin once again served as the central hub for the digital healthcare industry. INFORMATICS Healthcare was also on site to set the course for the future together with partners and customers.
Focus on In-Depth Discussion
Our visit to the DMEA 2026 trade show this year was particularly marked by one-on-one client meetings and in-depth technical discussions. As a partner of Oracle Health, most of these discussions took place at their booth, which provided the ideal setting for productive dialogue. The high volume of meetings underscores the significant need for dialogue and the interest in future-proof IT solutions in the healthcare sector.
Market Trends: AI and Change in the ERP Landscape
The key takeaways from the three days of the trade show were clear:
- Artificial intelligence (AI) was a constant presence at nearly all exhibitors' booths, regardless of their specific area of focus.
- There is a clear sense within the KIS community that significant changes are on the horizon.
- The range of topics at the trade show was impressive, spanning everything from cybersecurity and infrastructure to patient transport carts and peripheral equipment.
INFORMATICS Highlights: Score Services and Cloud Strategies
We were particularly pleased by the strong interest in our specialized solutions:
- Our Score Services and the OAuth flow were particularly well received by visitors.
- A key topic of many discussions was the future development of i.s.h.med and the Oracle Cloud.
- We were able to have valuable discussions about cloud strategies, integration scenarios, and new opportunities for collaboration.
Networking and Outlook
In addition to the technical presentations on vital signs and trend graph solutions, there was also plenty of opportunity for personal interaction. Whether over dinner with clients or at the DMEA party, networking was an essential part of these successful days.
The consistently positive feedback we’ve received from our existing clients regarding our collaboration so far reinforces our commitment to our vision. We’re taking many valuable insights back with us from Berlin and look forward to continuing to drive forward the projects and innovations we discussed together .
